These systems, also known as windshifters or air separators, have an important role in ATY production. By being used between the coarse crusher and the fine crusher, they both protect the blades of the fine crusher and increase the quality of the produced RDF. The purpose of the machine is to purify light materials such as nylon, paper, textile products and plastic from glass, stone and metals in the waste stream. A good distribution is achieved by entering the product on an acceleration band, and by blowing air with a powerful fan, it passes the light materials over a drum and directs them to the fine crusher, while heavy materials cannot fall down by gravity and pass the drum.
